and ensure that we leave the environment untouched
to conserve our wildlife. Here at Aberdeenshire
Tree Specialists we:
- Use bio-degradable chainsaw
oil
- Purchase equipment designed
to reduce environmental impact
- Work within guidelines set
out in the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981,

of Pesticides Regulations 1986 and Part III of
the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985
Wildlife
Nesting
Birds
All birds and their nests and eggs are protected
by law. In England, Scotland and Wales the legislation
that protects wild birds is the Wildlife and Countryside
Act 1981. In England and Wales the law has been
amended by the Countryside and Rights of Way Act
2000 and in Scotland by the Nature Conservation
(Scotland) Act 2004.
The amount of
protection afforded to wild birds varies depending
on whether the species are listed on various Schedules
or Licences. At Aberdeenshire Tree Specialists
the
welfare of birds, wildlife and their natural habitat
is our priority when assessing or working on any
project.
